Salem - Mark A. Firebaugh, 58, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his home.
Mark was born on December 22, 1966, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the son of Carroll and Mable (Dubois) Firebaugh. He married Bonnie (Tucker) Firebaugh on July 8, 2019, and she survives in Salem.
Also surviving are his children, Micah Ruth Rainwater, Nehemiah Genesis Rainwater, Ezra Naomi Rainwater, Makayla Scott, Sydney Scott, and Nicole Scott; siblings, John Firebaugh and wife Sandy of Springfield and Stephanie Starr of Florida; along with numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Mable Firebaugh; and siblings, Sandra Tatro, Anita Albert, Michael L. Firebaugh, Joseph C. Firebaugh, and Steven Starr.
Mark honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was of the Christian Faith and was an ordained minister. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing Taekwondo and Tai-Chi.
